Need help getting your thoughts down on paper? If writer's block is pushing you past your deadline, stop by Modern Languages, Room 310, today for a few tips on your current works in progress. At 5 p.m., Kendra Gaines from the Writing Skills Improvement Program will answer any questions you may have on grammar, punctuation, story ideas or writing in general. Throw out the stereotypes and get educated at today's Art History Lecture, "Sam Cooke and the Black Male Image." There will be a variety of lectures delving into the transforming world of black images in the mass media beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the University Museum of Art, Retablo Room. Multimedia art pieces including "The Liberation of Aunt Jemima" will be available for viewing. A second set of lectures titled "Aunt Jemima with a Gun?" will begin at 3:45 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center with a small reception to follow. Let your voice be heard! A special speaker panel has been prepared by ASUA Pride Alliance in honor of Coming Out Week. The session will begin at noon on the UA Mall in front of the Old Main Fountain.
