A UA student called police Monday from a campus garage after his car was broken into, reports stated.
The student locked his car at the Cherry Garage, 1641 E. Enke St., at 4 p.m. When the student returned four hours later, he noticed that his passenger door window had been pried open. The student's stereo and air conditioning panel were missing. His $600 CD collection was also gone, reports stated.
Officers arrived at the scene and took fingerprints of the vehicle. The student told police that he would call them when he had the serial numbers of the stolen items.
There are no suspects and no witnesses at this time, reports stated.
A UA student was arrested Monday at a campus residence hall after police saw that she had a bowl of vomit in her hands and may have been given date rape drugs, reports stated.
A UA employee called police after he noticed students were drinking and smoking marijuana on the roof of Sky View Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St.
The employee told police he went to get the students off the roof when a woman passed out while walking down the stairs. She fell down approximately three stairs, reports stated.
Officers and the Tucson Fire Department arrived at the scene and noticed that the student had a bowl of vomit in her hands. She told the fire department that she had vomited because she drank two shots of alcohol and smoked marijuana, reports stated.
She didn't remember falling and said she got sick because of the alcohol and drug mixture.
She was taken to Kino Community Hospital, where medical staff verified that she was less than 21 years old. She was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
The UA employee called police and informed them that the student may have been given date rape drugs, reports stated.
The student told officers that she didn't believe she had been drugged. She told police she did not want to take a drug test to find out if she had been drugged.
A $2,200 bicycle was stolen in front of a UA residence hall last week, reports stated.
Officers arrived at Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., and spoke to the victim, who told police that he let his friend borrow his bicycle while he was out of town. His friend noticed the bicycle was missing on Oct. 9.
The student told officers the bike had been locked at the bike racks on the north side of the residence hall, reports stated.
There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
After waiting four hours for Tucson police, a UA student called UAPD Monday to report that $1,679 worth of belongings was stolen from his car, reports stated.
The student parked his car at 12:30 p.m. in a lot at 1904 E. Helen St. He returned at 2 p.m. to find his CD player missing and the dash damaged. He also discovered that his three amplifiers, speaker box, camcorder and CD wallet containing 24 CDs were missing, reports stated.
He told police that he had an alarm that was not working. The student discovered that the negative connection to his car battery had been removed, reports stated.
The student told officers that he saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot Friday. He noticed the vehicle had a female driver and was not in a parking space when a man ran and jumped into the car and left the lot.
The student saw the vehicle earlier Monday in the lot again, but did not specify whether he believed they were involved with the theft, reports stated.
A UA student called police Monday to report that $450 worth of belongings had been taken from his car, reports stated.
The student parked his car at 1325 N. Warren Ave. at 5 p.m. When he returned to his car an hour later, he discovered the left rear window of his car had been broken into. The student told officers his car stereo, tennis shoes, duffel bag, shorts, CDs and wallet were missing, reports stated.
Officers advised the student to cancel his credit cards, and the student said he would try to get the serial numbers for the stolen items, reports stated.
Police were unable to obtain fingerprints, because the student had already opened the car doors.
There are no suspects or witnesses at this time, reports stated.
