With anthrax scares in several locations nationwide, people across the country have become more aware of the biological weaponry. The Daily Wildcat asked students if they are afraid of a possible anthrax attack on the University of Arizona.
"I haven't really thought about it and I'm not too scared about it, but I am cautious. I haven't heard much about it - I've been too busy to hear about it."
Jessica Crance, general biology freshman

"I know what it does and I know how you can get it. As far as getting a letter, I don't think I will be personally affected, though the administration might get it."
Matt Park, pre-pharmacy freshman
|
"I'm afraid they might target (UA President Peter) Likins, the administration or the people that are leaders in our technology on campus who might help us out."
Joel Bagwell, optics sophomore
|
"I heard about it on the news like two days ago. People shouldn't just sit around and be scared of it."
Maureen Brown, elementary education senior
