Free help for students! Kendra Gaines from the Writing Skills Improvement Program is back and ready to help. Today's free 5 p.m. Writing Workshop will focus on "Organizing the Introductory Paragraph." Monday's workshops are always held in Modern Languages, Room 411. Have the cooler nights given you more opportunities to keep your windows open? If the Tucson weather has handed you a stuffy nose and sore throat, consider calling the "Educate Before You Medicate - Talk With Your Pharmacist" hotline tonight between 5 and 9. The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and the Arizona Society of Health-System Pharmacists is providing free information on prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, drug interactions and common side effects. To reach the hotline, call 325-1055.


Take a deep breath and celebrate life at tonight's Africana Studies Body and Soul presentation at 7. Julian Kunnie will lead an evening of music and message, exploring the Africana aesthetic. Listen to local artists and share street wisdom with fellow students in the Education building, Kiva auditorium. Light refreshments will be served. Tired of a planet where earthlings cause traffic jams because they're on the phone? Take a break from earth and travel to Saturn at tonight's Steward Observatory public evening lecture series. Alfred McEwen from the Lunar and Planetary Sciences lab will take you on a journey through Saturn. Lectures begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Steward Observatory building, Room N210. Students and community members will have the opportunity to view the night sky through UA's 21-inch telescope. For more information, call Thomas A. Fleming at 621-5049.


Start your Monday off in tune with the School of Music and Dance Jazz concert and Arizona Wind Quintet performance at 7:30 p.m. The jazz concert will feature premiere vibraphonists, composers and legendary jazz professionals Abe Most, Carl Saunders, Jake Hanna and Peter Appleyard. While the jazz plays on in Crowder Hall, the Arizona Wind Quintet will toot your horn in the adjacent Holsclaw Auditorium.
