The Arizona gymnastics team kept their record perfect after beating Boise State and Brown on Friday at McKale Center.

No. 17 Arizona (5-0, 0-0) topped the two visiting schools in each of the four-team events, and individually the Gymcats finished first, second and third place for each event.

Senior Randi Liljenquist scored a 39.250 to win the all-around title and finished in first place on beam (9.9). Liljenquist took first place on vault, tying a career high with a 9.9.

Head coach Bill Ryden said he is happy with the team's 5-0 start but knows the team needs to keep improving before its meet at No. 5 Utah on Friday.

"I am very pleased with our team's performance," Ryden told Arizona Media Relations. "We have a young team that still has a lot of growing to do. Next week is going to be a huge challenge for us."
