Some people are still having a difficult time dealing with the Sept. 11 attacks. The key to coping with these types of troublesome issues is knowledge. Drop by the Martin Luther King Jr. building, Room 209, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., to take part in a discussion led by a panel devoted to uncovering issues of "Civil Liberties, Terrorism and People of Color." Representatives from the departments of political science, law and economics will join members of the Tucson community to shed light on the issues surrounding the attacks. Beverages will be provided. So the rain forests are supposed to be wet, right? Of course. But because of global practices, fire hazards now exist in forests in the Brazilian Amazon. Find out what the dangers are at the Douglass building, Room 102, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Center for Latin American Studies Brownbag Lunch Talk, "The Politics of Fire Hazard in the Brazilian Amazon."
