A UA employee reported an unwanted person on the Rincon track, 501 S. Plumer St., Tuesday, reports stated.

The man was standing in a shopping cart in the center of the field. The employee said the man appeared to be unstable and aggressive, reports stated.

Police told the man that if he returned he would be arrested, reports stated.

Police discovered seven people trespassing at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, 1824 E. Enke Drive, after an intrusion alarm was set off early Wednesday morning, reports stated.

Five females and two males entered the facility by jumping over the north wall. It appeared that the suspects, all of whom were 21 or older, had been jumping on a trampoline and where drinking on the top diving platform, reports stated.

Police informed the women, who were UA students, that they were going to file Code of Conduct violations on their actions. Officers warned the two men, who were visiting from California, reports stated.

UAPD dispatch received numerous calls from all over campus regarding a power outage around 4 p.m. Wednesday, reports stated.

Several fire, intrusion and temperature alarms were activated by the power outage. Tucson Electric Power Co. informed police that the outage resulted from the university system being disconnected from the main power trunk, reports stated.

Police and security officers checked all areas to ensure that power was restored and everything was in order. All sensitive areas continued to operate without incident, reports stated.

A man was cited for jumping off walls, benches and curbs with his skateboard Wednesday at the Life Sciences building, 1007 E. Lowell St., reports stated.

The man was first seen by police jumping off the steps of the Campus Health Center, 1541 E. University Blvd. Officers told the man the university does not permit skateboarders to do any tricks, including jumps or grinding, in various parts of campus. They also told him skateboards were to be used solely for transportation between one place and another. The man said he understood and would not do it again, reports stated.

Forty minutes later, a security officer saw the man jump off a three-foot wall near the Life Sciences building, almost hitting pedestrians. Police caught up with the subject and cited him for interfering with an educational facility, reports stated.

A microwave in a breezeway at the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St., was vandalized over spring break, reports stated.

The microwave was apparently vandalized with eggs and was no longer working.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

Someone attempted to break into a vehicle over spring break in a private lot at 1035 E. Mabel St., reports stated.

When police arrived at the scene, there were already two mobile mechanics working on the vehicle. The car's owner said there was a problem with the starter. The reason why the car was not stolen may have been because it could not start, reports stated.

Police said it looked like someone jammed an unknown object under the driver side handle to force the door open. The handle had been pried away from the frame, and there was a one-inch scratch under the lock, reports stated.

The steering column was cracked, but there was no damage to the ignition. A CD player was stolen from the center console, and the power locks on both doors were inoperable, reports stated.

There were no other damaged items in the vehicle.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
