GPA requirement for tickets was a great April Fool's joke
Very funny April Fool's joke. I lost it when I read and actually believed it. I almost walked into Likins' office and was going to tell him I was transferring. And trust me I have sworn I would never transfer for any reason. Great joke.

Guest Commentary: America's steadfast Middle Eastern ally
There is a popular T-shirt in Israel that says "Don't worry America, Israel is behind you." I used to think that was just a clever shirt designed for Jewish-American teenagers in Israel to go along with the "Shalom, Just do It" with the Nike swoosh. Recent events have caused me to reflect upon that statement and the truth behind it.
Currently, we are engaged in military action against Iraq. America is acting against Iraq because our government believes that the Iraqi government is developing weapons of mass destruction and, not to mention, brutally terrorizing and murdering the people of Iraq. Iraqi regime provides many examples of ruthlessness
An overwhelming majority of Americans now support the current war in Iraq. Though some will never be in favor of removing Saddam Hussein by force, the polls clearly show that many remain open-minded to the fact that, if provided adequate evidence, this war, to them, would be justified.
But what happens if that evidence never comes? What happens if the Iraqi regime is overthrown and, after an exhaustive search, no weapons of mass destruction are found? Does the war now become unjustified? Though most believe it is only a matter of time until the Iraqi regime employs chemical weapons, for the sake of argument, we'll say none are ever used or found.
