$3 billion urged by Bush for Pakistan. Bush is asking Congress to give the money to help the south Asian country advance security and economic opportunity for its citizens, according to the Fox News website.

80-foot fall was survived by a baby. Her father tossed the 10-month old out the seventh story window of a Peekskill N.Y. apartment, crashing through several tree branches before hitting the ground. She suffered cuts and bruises. The father was arrested Monday on attempted murder charges, according to the Associated Press.

$10 million lawsuit filed by Barbara Streisand. She's suing a photographer who put pictures of her Malibu Calif. estate on a web site. The photographer asked that the case be dismissed, according to the Associated Press.

5-year-old Tucson boy is on life support after nearly drowning in a motel pool. The boy and his family were staying at a motel on Tucson's north side after their east side home was wiped out by a fire on June 17, according to the Tucson Citizen.

5 people were arrested in connection with the killing of Francisco Aguilar. He was found under a burning mattress June 12 near Tucson International Airport, according to the Arizona Daily Star. Medical examiners found that Aguilar was also shot several times.

$26 million could by raised by the State through the first tax amnesty in 20 years. State lawmakers hope the break would bring money in from more than 149,000 delinquent taxpayers around the state, according to The Arizona Republic.

100 or more federal air marshals have been fired or stripped of their flight status for problems stemming from security clearance background investigations. Also, some are flying without having security clearance, according to an NBC news website.
