Criminal justice senior welcomes freshman crime
WILDCAT: What was the first thing you thought of when you came to the U of A? Were you a transfer student?
JORGENSEN: I was a transfer student from Pima.
WILDCAT: Well, what was your first impression when you came here?
JORGENSEN: Uh, that it's pretty big.
WILDCAT: Well then. What was the first thing that grabbed your eye? Like for me, it was all that construction and this big hole in the Mall. It drove me insane.
JORGENSEN: I liked the business college because it's new and just a nice place, you know. You look outside and see a waterfall.
WILDCAT: Now when you say criminal justice, do you want to be a cop, go to the FBI?
JORGENSEN: No, I just want to work in like, government.
WILDCAT: Government, huh? Do you want to work in the CIA, like become that·.you know! That one guy from all those Tom Clancy movies, Jack Ryan? No! Dan Ryan. Wait, that's a freeway in Chicago.
JORGENSEN: I think it was, yeah it was Jack Ryan. No, I don't want to be him.
WILDCAT: Well is that going to be you, you're all, "I didn't kill my wife." Wait, that's another movie. So, criminal justice, where are you going to go with it?
JORGENSEN: Work in smaller government, like city or Pima County.
WILDCAT: Like work in a prosecutor's office?
JORGENSEN: Just any type of government. Probably something to do with courts.
WILDCAT: Well what do you say about some of these freshmen coming here to break some laws around these parts?
JORGENSEN: Go for it! Have fun!
WILDCAT: You see? Job security! I love this guy!
