Concerts and Events

"Sexy Beast" will be shown in the Modern Languages auditorium Friday at 7:30 p.m. This English film, directed by Jonathan Glazer and starring Ben Kingsley, is about an ex-gangster who has settled down in Spain and is living "the good life." This event is sponsored by the International Arts Society Film Program and is free to all.

Gary Primich performs songs from his solo CD "Dog House Music" on Friday at 8 p.m. The event will be held at Nimbus Brewery, 3850 E. 44th St. The cost is $10. For more information, call 745-9175.

Come see the Nick Luca Trio with Hobnail Boot at Bookman's, 6230 S. Speedway Blvd., on Friday. The blend of jazz, psychedelica, and folk music begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. The event is free. Contact Colin Waite at 748-9555 for more information.

Major Lingo plays Saturday night at 9 p.m. at Boondocks Lounge, 3306 N. First Ave. Come hear the Cajun-style rockabilly sound for only $5. Call 690-0991 for more information.
