Why she won the award: Rutledge has been the model of consistency for the Wildcats this season. Last weekend, she was second on the team with 28 kills, including 16 against No. 11 UCLA. Where she shines, though, is in the things that don't show up in the box scores, like leadership and attitude on the floor. Rutledge's effort last weekend helped Arizona split its matches against UCLA and No. 1 USC.
Wildcat: What is your best UA moment?
Rutledge: Beating USC on their home floor to advance to the Final Four (in 2001).
Wildcat: What is your favorite movie?
Rutledge: "Happy Gilmore."
Wildcat: Who is your favorite actor?
Rutledge: Adam Sandler.
Wildcat: What is your favorite TV show?
Rutledge: It is a tie between" Temptation Island" and "Friends."
Wildcat: Who would you pick to play you in a movie about your life?
Rutledge: Julia Roberts.
Wildcat: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
Rutledge: (San Diego Charger) Junior Seau because he is from San Diego and he has a great attitude on the field.
Wildcat: What is the first thing that you do in the morning?
Rutledge: I look for something to wear.
Wildcat: What is your favorite thing to do when you are not playing volleyball or studying?
Rutledge: Playing Bopit.
