The Park Student Union will host an open mic night in the food court beginning at 7 p.m. Signup is on a first come, first served basis. Bring poetry, stories or songs on acoustic guitar and share for five to 10 minutes. Coffee and cookies will be provided.

Harvy Schmidt and Tom Jones, creators of "The Fantastiks," will sing and talk about American theatre at 3 p.m. in the Laboratory Theatre.

The physics department will host its 19th annual Physics Phun Night, featuring nine professors and students showcasing all sorts of demonstrations of physical principles at 7 p.m. in the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building, Room 201.
