The Arizona Daily Wildcat is now accepting CatCalls information for interesting events that will occur while the Wildcat is on hiatus between Dec. 12, 2002, and Jan. 14, 2003. The information will be published in Wednesday's paper at the discretion of the CatCalls editor. Please e-mail the location, date, time, information for a contact person and a description of the event to catcalls@wildcat.arizona.edu.


Mindy George-Weinstein will speak on "Origin, Distribuition and Development of Skeletal Muscle Stem Cells" at 4 p.m. in the Life Sciences North building, Room 452.


Shrinivas (Shri) Kulkarni will give a lecture on "The Brightest Explosions in the Universe" at 7:30 p.m. in the Steward Observatory, Room N210.


Grayson Hirst will direct the Tucson male choir Sons of Orpheus in their Fifth Annual Benefit Christmas Concert for Community Food Bank. The performance starts at


7 p.m. at the Berger Performing Arts Center, 1200 W. Speedway Blvd. Bring non-perishable food items for admission.
