A resident assistant from the Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, looked in a resident's open door and saw a small glass jar filled with marijuana that was placed in an open desk drawer, reports stated.

Police went to the room and spoke with two of its residents, who gave them the marijuana and said it belonged to their other roommate who was not at home. Officers told them to have their roommate call police when he returned, reports stated.

The roommate, 18, spoke to police when he returned home and said the marijuana in the jar was his, reports stated.

The student was placed in the diversion program and the 1.3 grams of marijuana were placed into evidence at the University of Arizona Police Department station, reports stated.

A UA employee found a discharged bullet early this week inside a campus pool filter, reports stated.

An employee told police he was checking a filter at the Corleone Apartments swimming pool, 1330 N. Park Ave., when he found the slug.

Officers believe the round either went into the drain, through the pool pipes and eventually ended up in the filter, or that someone placed the bullet in the filter, reports stated.

The employee said he usually finds leaves and miscellaneous debris in the filter. The bullet was placed into evidence at UAPD, reports stated.

Police arrested a Tucson man Wednesday after they received complaints about him being drunk and harassing women near campus, reports stated.
