Indecent exposure

A woman was arrested for indecent exposure, criminal trespassing and assaulting a police officer Tuesday, after she dropped her pants in front of a residence hall and later spit on a police officer, reports stated.

At about 1:30 p.m., police arrived at Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall, 922 E. Fourth St., in response to a report about a naked person.

Officers spoke with a student who said she saw the woman drop her pants and her underpants, exposing her vagina, reports stated.

The student told officers the incident offended her and that she would be willing to prosecute.

The woman, already in custody, was told she would be arrested for indecent exposure. When she was handcuffed, she became very verbally abusive to officers. She denied exposing herself to anyone.

She began to swear and was sexually explicit with her words, reports stated.

Police placed the woman in the patrol car's backseat when she began kicking the metal grate and plexiglass portion of the cage separating the front and back seats.

She continued to be sexually abusive with her language. Police had rolled down the windows and turned on the air conditioning for her comfort, but had to roll up the windows when she became verbally abusive as other cars passed by, reports stated.

While on the way to the University of Arizona Police Department, the woman was able to shift herself over to the open grate of the metal portion that was not covered with plexiglass and spit saliva onto an officer's ear, which landed on his hearing aid and ear lobe, reports stated.

On arrival to the police station, officers placed a spit bag over the woman's head.

The woman appeared to fall asleep while police filled out paperwork, reports stated.

It was later learned the woman had been using a fictitious name and had possession of a driver's license belonging to someone else.

The woman again became verbally abusive and kicked inside the car as police took her to Pima County Consolidated Court for a court appearance.

Police later transported the woman to Pima County Jail, where she was booked, reports stated.

Harassing phone calls

Police warned a man in Louisiana about harassment Saturday after a student reported receiving harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend, reports stated.

The student told police at 11 p.m. on Aug. 30, her ex-boyfriend in Louisiana called and said he was coming to Arizona to see her, "whether she liked it or not," reports stated.

The ex-boyfriend called again at about 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, and called the student a "bitch." The student hung up the phone.

The student told police this has been going on for the past year, when she filed a report with officers last fall.

The student has told her ex-boyfriend several times to stop calling her. She said he has threatened her in the past and has said to her now that, "it doesn't matter if you call the police," reports stated.

She told police she felt threatened and afraid.

Police contacted the man in Louisiana and he told police they had been dating for the past three and a half years. He said lately the student was acting, "bitchy," so he was going to act like an, "asshole," reports stated.

He said he loved her and he did not threaten her, reports stated.

Police advised the man not to call her again unless she initiated contact, and warned him against harassment.

The man said he would stop calling. Police advised the student to contact officers if he calls again, reports stated.

Misrepresenting age

An 18-year-old student was cited and released for misrepresenting his age to buy liquor Saturday, reports stated.

At about 7:20 p.m., police went to UofA Liquors, 1002 E. Sixth St., in response to a report of a possible liquor law violation.

Police contacted a student who said he tried to use a friend's identification to purchase liquor. The student gave police his Georgia drivers license.

The clerk of the store came out and handed police an Alabama driver's license with a different name on it that he said the student had tried to use to buy a "fifth of really cheap vodka," reports stated.

The student was cited and released at the scene, reports stated.
