A student's Toyota Camry was damaged Feb. 27 while it was parked in a lot near the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, 1130 N. Mountain Ave., reports stated.

The student parked the car at 2 p.m., and when he returned at 5 p.m. he found several scrapes and scratches along the hood and front of the vehicle, reports stated.

It looked as though something was dragged across the front of the vehicle, and there were a few dents where the scratches were, reports stated.

A brownish color was transferred to the vehicle by whatever made the scratches, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student left their $80 Apple power adapter for their Apple laptop in room 120 of the Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., Tuesday, reports stated.

The student left the adapter in the room when he left at 3:15 p.m. When he returned, the door to the room was locked.

The student asked police to open the room for him so he could look for his adapter, reports stated. When he entered the room, it was not where he had left it.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student's $175 bike was stolen from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., March 1, reports stated.

The student locked his bike at 12:15 p.m. with a chain that went through the frame. When he returned at 1:40 p.m., the bike and chain were missing, reports stated.

A student lost her $100 silver cell phone on March 1, when she walked from Hopi Lodge Residence Hall, 1440 E. Fourth St., to Apache Residence Hall, 1440 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

She believes the phone to be unusable because the battery was dead around the time she lost it.

Police advised her to call AT&T and cancel her phone service.

An unknown person cracked the windshield and damaged the door of a Volkswagen Passat between Feb. 27 and Feb. 29 while it was parked at the Main Gate Garage, 815 E. Second St., reports stated.

The student parked her car at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 27 and when she returned two days later, she found her car had been damaged.

The damage to the vehicle looked like someone had struck the windshield with a rock, causing it to crack all over, reports stated.

The rear passenger side door had a dent about an inch in diameter and a shoe print on it, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A cut Schwinn combination lock was found at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the intersection of North Warren Avenue and East Hawthorne Street, reports stated.

The owner of the lock could not be located, reports stated.

Police placed the item into evidence for safekeeping, reports stated.

A student's $300 black BMX bike was stolen Wednesday from the Physics-Atmospheric Sciences building, 1118 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

The student secured his bike with a cable lock through the frame of the bike at 9 a.m., and when he returned at noon, the bike was missing, reports stated.

There is no serial number for the bike and it is not registered with Parking and Transportation Services, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A silver watch was received by mail at 4 p.m. Wednesday at UAPD headquarters, 1852 E. First St., reports stated.

Police do not know who the owner is, reports stated.

The watch was placed into property and evidence, reports stated.

A professor's wallet was stolen Wednesday off of his desk in room 125 of Rogers Rountree Hall, 1145 N Mountain Ave., reports stated.

The professor left his wallet on his desk when he left his office at noon, and when he returned at 12:45 p.m. the wallet was gone, reports stated.

The building is open to the public but he doesn't know of anyone who may have taken his wallet, reports stated.

He has cancelled his credit cards, reports stated.

A $200 bike was stolen Wednesday from the Art building, 1031 N. Olive Ave., reports stated.

The student locked the bike to the bike racks at 5:30 a.m. When the student returned at 5 p.m., the bike and lock were gone.
