A man with three Tucson Police Department warrants was arrested Wednesday morning at 1427 E. Waverly St. after running a red light and refusing to pull over, reports stated.

Police saw the man run the red light while turning left onto East Speedway Boulevard. Police followed the man, who would not pull over.

The man looked into the rearview mirror and started to make a right turn onto North Warren Avenue. The car then jerked and continued down Speedway, as the man tried to lose police.

Police turned on the siren. The man looked in the rearview mirror again and waved his hand out the window, reports stated.

The man continued to travel down Speedway.

The man finally stopped on East Waverly Street, reports stated.

When police asked the man why he had not pulled over, he said he had to go to his job site.

A records check showed the man had three TPD warrants.

The man then told police he didn't stop because he knew he had warrants.

The man was booked into Pima County Jail and his car was towed, reports stated.

A man sleeping on campus property Wednesday morning was arrested because there was a warrant out for his arrest, reports stated.

Police approached the man after they saw him lying facedown in the grass.

The man told police he lived downtown. He said he had been walking home but got tired and decided to take a nap before going home, reports stated.

A records check showed the man had a warrant.

The man was booked into Pima County Jail, reports stated.

Six latex condoms, four boxes of Zyprexa tablets and some papers were found Wednesday morning outside of the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

Police could not locate the owner of the items.

The items were placed into evidence, reports stated.

A student lost her $200 cell phone Wednesday afternoon at the BioSciences West building, 1041 E. Lowell St., reports stated.

The student said she had her cell phone while in class.

The student called police a few hours later to tell them her cell phone had been returned to her by someone who had found it, reports stated.

A UA employee lost her set of keys to the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., sometime between March 5 and Monday, reports stated.

The employee said she had last used her keys to lock the museum around 3 p.m. March 5.

The employee said she had thought she had just left the keys at her house. She then searched her house and realized the keys weren't there, reports stated.

A student's car was stolen Wednesday while it was parked in a Zone 1 lot at North Mountain Avenue and East Fort Lowell Road, reports stated.

Police didn't find any glass in the area. The student said she had locked her car.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
