A man was arrested around noon on March 11 after trespassing in the Anthropology building, 1009 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

An officer saw the man in the building and told him the police were on their way. The man ran southbound on East Lowell Street, reports stated.

Police yelled, "Stop, police," and the man stopped on the south side of the Life Sciences South building, 1007 E. Lowell St., reports stated.

The man was handcuffed and taken to Pima County Jail.

The judge gave him the option of posting a $7,400 bond for refusing to pay the $200 trespassing fee. The man was booked into jail and told not to return to the UA campus, reports stated.

A maintenance worker found a broken chardonnay bottle by the pool at Corleone Apartments, 1330 N. Park Ave., on March 11 around 9:30 a.m., reports stated.

The hall director had left the building at noon on March 10, and when she returned, she was informed of the broken glass, reports stated.

Residents of the complex said there had been a big party the night before, and they had heard glass breaking, reports stated.

A resident of the apartment who had the party said he didn't know that someone had thrown a bottle over the wall, reports stated.

He was told to watch his guests more carefully in the future, reports stated.

The pool was temporarily closed until maintenance cleaned the glass, reports stated.

A student's $1,000 bike was stolen March 11 from the north side of the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St., reports stated.

The student locked her bike with a Kryptonite lock through the frame and tire at 6 p.m., and when she returned from class at 7 p.m., her bike was gone, reports stated.

The student noticed when she was locking her bike that there was a suspicious male watching her for several minutes as he walked slowly from the Fine Arts Complex, reports stated.

A man was arrested for trespassing around 9 p.m. in the Delta Chi fraternity house, 1701 E. First St., on March 11, reports stated.

Members of the fraternity said the man entered their house and sat down in a chair in the corner of the room and drank the Bud Light he brought in with him, reports stated.

The members asked the man who he was and what he was doing there, but he did not answer them, reports stated.

When police arrived, they asked the man to stand up and to give them his name. The man did not respond, reports stated.

The police officer then pointed at the taser on his belt and told the man that if he didn't get up, he would experience 50,000 volts going through his body. To this, the man raised his left hand as if to say, "cuff me," reports stated.

The officer handcuffed the man and transported him to Pima County Jail.

A records check showed the man to be suicidal and that he had had a number of contacts with Tucson Police Department for alcohol abuse, reports stated.

Four boxes of Zyprexa tablets, a medication used for schizophrenia and acute bipolar mania, six Durex condoms and some miscellaneous papers were found March 10 at 8:50 a.m. on the west side of the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The owner of the items could not be found and they were placed into evidence at UAPD for safekeeping.

A man was found sleeping facedown in the grass at 9 a.m. on March 10 on the northwest corner of East Sixth Street and North Championship Drive, reports stated.

When police woke the man, he said he lived in the downtown area, but he grew tired and decided to stop and take a nap before continuing home, reports stated.

The officers told him he was not allowed to sleep on campus property, reports stated.

A records check showed that the man had a warrant, and he was placed under arrest and transported to Pima County Jail, reports stated.

A student's car was broken into March 11 and $1,500 worth of CDs was stolen out of it while it was parked at Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., reports stated.

The student parked her car at 10 a.m. and when she returned at 2:15 p.m., she found the rear passenger-side window broken and her book of 100-150 CDs stolen, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses. Police tried to lift fingerprints from the vehicle but were unsuccessful. Photos were taken of the damage, reports stated.
