Red finger stains were found on a white Chevrolet sedan just before midnight on Saturday while it was parked in an unmarked spot in Park Avenue Garage, 1140 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

The stains were found on the hood and rear door handle.

There was also a Budweiser beer bottle on the floor in front of the passenger seat, reports stated.

Officers took swabs of the red stains from the vehicle for evidence and to determine whether the car had been involved in a hit and run, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student in Maricopa Residence Hall, 1031 E. North Campus Drive, received a harassing phone call from another student at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, reports stated.

About three weeks ago, the student told the other student and his girlfriend that she did not want to live in a house with them next semester, reports stated.

The student said since she told them that, they have been constantly harassing her over the phone and Internet, reports stated.

The messages were not threatening, but a lot of profanities were used.

Police could not arrest the student because the student making the complaint had not told her to leave him alone, reports stated.

When police questioned the couple, they provided the same story about the student "breaking the deal," reports stated.

The couple also said they had very limited contact with the student over the past three weeks and denied harassing her, reports stated.

The officer warned the couple not to have any more contact with the student, reports stated.

No criminal charges were filed.

The Alpha Gamma Rho Gilbert Martinez Memorial Scholarship plaque was found early Friday morning on a woman's front porch, 634 N. First Ave., reports stated.

The plaque was left on the porch sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 5:45 a.m. Friday, reports stated.

The woman asked her neighbors if they saw who had put the plaque on her porch, and no one was aware of it, reports stated.

The large wooden plaque had dents and scratches, and the memorial picture was peeling off, reports stated.

The woman was told to contact UAPD if she had any further information. Alpha Gamma Rho was also contacted about the whereabouts of its plaque, reports stated.

Someone threw ketchup at a woman in her car at 9 a.m. Friday as she passed the Family and Consumer Sciences building, 1110 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The woman was following a group of people and as one of them walked by, they threw ketchup at her. It got on her skin and jeans, reports stated.

When she called police, she was told to follow the group, but she lost sight of them, reports stated.

Police could not find anyone in the area matching the description the woman provided.

The woman wants to press charges, reports stated.

A steel hatchet with a leather sheath was found in the basement of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 940 E. Fifth St., around 11 p.m. on Thursday, reports stated.

A resident assistant found the hatchet and turned it in to the person at the front desk, who notified UAPD, reports stated.

The hatchet was placed into evidence.

Police have no further information.

The guest of a resident of Yavapai Residence Hall, 1222 E. South Campus Drive, was arrested for drinking underage early Saturday morning, reports stated.

The visitor and the resident were in another resident's room, and the resident told police the visitor had taken eight to 10 shots of Bacardi rum, reports stated.

The visitor started to get sick, so the resident helped him to the bathroom down the hall, reports stated.

When the visitor started to throw up, the resident informed the RA on duty, and the RA called 911 for further assistance, reports stated.

Tucson Fire Department arrived and transported the resident in an ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital, 1601 W. St. Mary's Road, for extreme intoxication, reports stated.

Police went to the room where the students had been drinking, and the resident said the visitor had been drinking rum and showed the officer a large bottle of Bacardi rum, reports stated.

The hall staff said it would handle the incident administratively. The resident was asked to pour out the rum in the hall bathroom, reports stated.

At 8 a.m. the same day, a day-shift officer went to the hospital to cite and release the visitor when he was coherent enough to sign the citation, reports stated.

A code of conduct form was submitted for the student whose room they were in.
