A student was diverted to the Dean of Students Office for underage drinking early Friday morning after police got a call about a possible fight at the Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall, 922 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

When police arrived, they saw the student's right index finger was bleeding. The student said the cut was from him punching glass. He received medical attention and was told he might need stitches.

The student's friend told police the student had been drinking vodka and coke at Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

The friend said he had walked the student to his room in Kaibab-Huachuca because he was worried about him. When they entered the Kaibab-Huachuca courtyard, the friend said, the student threw up on the ground, reports stated.

The friend said when he and the student got to the second floor, the student punched the glass window of the fire extinguisher case on the wall.

The friend said he didn't know why the student punched the window. Police found blood and broken glass by the fire extinguisher, reports stated.

The student then told police he drank about 10 shots of vodka and wasn't sure which room he'd been in at Arizona-Sonora.

The student said earlier in the night he had walked a girl to Coronado and had fallen on a curb on the way. The student had two cuts above his right eye from the fall. The student told police he hadn't fought anyone and didn't really remember falling on the ground, reports stated.

The student said he couldn't remember anything from the previous hour and didn't really remember the rest of the night either.

Police noticed the student had red, watery eyes and smelled like alcohol. The student's responses were slow and delayed, reports stated.

A resident assistant in Kaibab-Huachuca told police the hall would handle the damage to the fire extinguisher. The student agreed to pay for the damage and the RA said that the hall did not want to press charges.

The student was told about the UA diversion program and said he would do it.

The custodial staff was asked to clean up the blood and glass.

Police warned the student to not drink until he was of legal age, reports stated.

A man lost his wallet Sunday night at the Science-Engineering Library, 744 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.

When police arrived, the man told police he had last seen his wallet around 4 p.m. and hadn't noticed it was missing until 8 p.m.

The man told police he lost the wallet on the third floor. He said it had a Visa card, a driver's license and $4 cash in it.

Police searched the third floor, but didn't find the man's wallet.

The man told police he had already canceled his Visa card, reports stated.

A student's $200 car stereo was stolen Saturday afternoon while her 1998 tan Toyota Corolla was parked in a Zone 1 lot, 1402 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.

The student told police she parked her car around noon and returned around 9 p.m., finding the stereo gone.

Police saw the front passenger-side window had been broken and the window frame had been damaged. Police found a screwdriver on the front passenger-side seat, which the student said was not hers.

Police could not fingerprint the screwdriver because of the rough and bumpy surface of the handle and shaft, reports stated.

The screwdriver was placed into evidence. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

Two cases of 20 oz. bottles of Dr. Pepper worth $50 were stolen April 23, from a Coca-Cola delivery truck parked at the Park Student Union, 615 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

When police arrived, the truck driver said he had unloaded 12 cases of Coca-Cola products around 8:15 a.m. and had taken some of the cases inside.

The truck driver said he had returned five minutes later, finding the two cases of Dr. Pepper gone.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

A student told police a professor had damaged the driver-side mirror on a UA vehicle April 9 while the professor was backing out of a Zone 1 lot at North First Avenue and East Copper Street, reports stated.

The student told police he was a UA employee and worked for the professor.

The student said the professor had been backing the UA vehicle out around noon, when he broke the mirror off, reports stated.
