The UA athletics department released a list of nearly 1,500 names yesterday as winners of the 2003-04 men's basketball lower-level student ticket lottery.  
The first round of winners, made up of UA students who purchased the Zona Zoo student sports pass before the Sept. 12 lottery deadline, are given the option to purchase a pair of lower-level tickets for half of the team's games, not including games that occur during winter recess. Tickets will be assigned at random.
Students can check online to see if they won by going to www.arizonaathletics.com and clicking on the "Zona Zoo" link on the right side of the page.
Chosen students can purchase tickets online starting today, through Oct. 12, and pick their tickets up between Oct. 14-17 at the McKale Center Ticket Office. Students whose names were chosen in the lottery but did not purchase online may buy their tickets at the McKale Center Ticket Office between Oct.15-17.
Students who were awarded tickets but have not picked them up by the Oct. 17 deadline will forfeit their tickets, with alternate winners' names being posted online on Oct. 21.
Winning names of the upper-level lottery ÷ names include Zona Zoo pass holders who did not win lower-level tickets and other students who entered their names prior to the Sept. 12 deadline ÷ will be released on Oct. 23.
The Wildcat men's squad plays its first regular season home game ÷ after hosting exhibition games against Sydney and Team Nike ÷ on  Nov. 24 against Northern Arizona.
