Freshman tries to speak Spanish, but hasn't been to biology class in the last four weeks
Wildcat: My name's Nathan. You're On the Spot. Your friend here tells me you're in Spanish. Say something in Spanish.
Yeager: What do you want me to say?
Wildcat: "My name's Nathan. You're On the Spot."
Yeager: I don't know how.
Wildcat: Try.
Yeager: Me llamo Nathan. Est‡s Spot?
Wildcat: Cool. I would say "En el ·" oh, I don't know the word for "spot." Dot. Maybe "dot" · or "hole."
Yeager: Punto.
Wildcat: Or like what?
Yeager: Punto. Like a period.
Wildcat: Oh. I thought you said something else.
Yeager: No, no, no, no.
Wildcat: All right. Since you're in Spanish and everything · what building just got renamed?
Yeager: Economics · Chicano Student Affairs or something like that.
Wildcat: It got changed to some dude's name.
Yeager: CŽsar Ch‡vez.
Wildcat: You said you had a lot to do right now? What's that?
Yeager: I kind of have bad study habits, so I didn't go to biology the last four weeks and I have a test on Wednesday. So I have to read all the chapters in the books and all the online lecture notes. And I also have a paper.
Wildcat: Do you have those two guys ·? What are they called?
Yeager: Hallick and Grimes?
Wildcat: Yeah! That's like a book name. Like something, "My Hallick and Grimes book."
Yeager: I probably shouldn't have said that. They might read it.
Wildcat: Maybe they'll take pity on you and, since you promoted their class · they might give you a "B" instead of a "C."
Yeager: Promoting the class I don't go to?
Wildcat: Maybe they don't read the paper.
Yeager: Here's hoping.
Wildcat: Do they still show their slide shows?
Yeager: Yeah. Well, they did · It's been a while.
Wildcat: When you were there four weeks ago, they did?
Yeager: Yeah.
