A UA student called UAPD Tuesday after he noticed that his bike had been stolen from a bike rack at Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 601 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.

The student couldn't remember when he locked the bike to the rack because it was broken. He estimated the red and black Huffy to be worth $200, reports stated.

The cable that he used to secure the bike was also stolen, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A man called UAPD after his car was rear-ended Monday while stopped at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Euclid Avenue, reports stated.

His Chevrolet pick-up was hit from behind by an uninsured KIA Rio. The driver of the KIA said the car was uninsured and asked the driver of the pick-up to report that he was hit by the man's Ford Explorer, which was insured, reports stated.

After the driver of the pick-up declined the offer, the driver of the KIA left his name and telephone number and drove off, reports stated.


An officer found a discharged fire extinguisher in the breezeway of the Modern Languages building, 1423 E. University Blvd., on Monday, reports stated.

The fire extinguisher was discharged on the walls and steps of the building. There was no sign of a fire or damage, reports stated.


A student reported her CatCard stolen from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth Ave., on Monday, reports stated.

The student first realized that the card was stolen on Oct. 5 between 8 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. while she was swimming. She had locked her card in a locker, but left it unattended when she was in the locker room along with other items, reports stated.

The Recreation Center staff has no record of her CatCard in the lost and found. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called UAPD after his sweatshirt and CatCard were stolen from the courtyard of the Sixth Avenue Garage, 1201 E. Sixth St., on Monday, reports stated.

The student left the items unattended while attending a nearby martial arts class. The student said he was in the area but was not watching the items the entire time, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called UAPD Monday after her bicycle was stolen from a rack at the Old Chemistry building, 1306 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student locked her green and bronze Schwinn mountain bike to a rack on the west side of the building at 11 a.m. When she returned at 5 p.m., the bike was gone, reports stated.

Her cable lock that she used to lock the front tire and frame was also stolen. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student was removed from Arizona Stadium, 540 N. Vine St., during the football game Saturday after he yelled obscenities at another man, reports stated.

An officer saw the man yelling at another person. While he was yelling, the student walked aggressively towards the other person, reports stated.

The officer blocked the student's arm. The student pushed the officer's arm away and continued to walk towards the other person, reports stated.

The officer restrained the student by holding his arm and walked him towards an exit. While he was walking the student out, he tried to pull away, reports stated.

Another officer arrived and handcuffed the student. The officers walked the student out of the stadium and told him not to return, reports stated.


The glass door of a vending machine was reported smashed with assorted snacks stolen on Saturday, reports stated.

The vending machine is located on the southeast side of the Education building, 1430 E. Second St. An employee saw the broken glass and missing snacks and called police. The vandalism occurred Friday at 7 a.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m., reports stated.

The glass door is estimated to be worth $75. The employee could not estimate the value of the snacks, reports stated.
