When police found the man, they asked why he was on campus. He said he was there to watch a concert. When police asked him if he had tried to steal a bike, he said, "I might have," reports stated.

Police searched his backpack and found a metal cutter and wrenches, which matched the damage done to the bike lock that he was seen at earlier, reports stated.

Police found that the man had three outstanding warrants for theft, possession of burglary tools and failure to appear in court, reports stated.
