A student called police Thursday after he noticed his bicycle had been stolen, reports stated.

The student locked the Magna mountain bike to a rack earlier in the day.

When he returned at 3:45 p.m., the bike was gone, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


An employee called police Monday after he found a vending machine smashed at the Corleone Apartments, 1330 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

The employee found the bill-collecting device pulled out from a Pepsi soda machine when he entered the apartment laundry room.

After investigating the machine, police said the device was cut out with a sharp object, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses. It is unknown if any money was stolen, reports stated.


A student called police Monday after she saw the wrong license plate on her car, reports stated.

The student parked her silver Dodge Intrepid in the Tyndall Garage, 880 E. Fourth St., at 9:30 p.m. the night before.

When she returned Monday night, she saw a different plate attached to her car, reports stated.

Her license plate, which read "Missajo," was replaced by the plate from another Dodge Intrepid that was reported stolen last month, reports stated.

Police took the license into evidence. Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A student called police Monday after his UA parking pass was stolen from his car, reports stated.

The student parked his red Jeep Cherokee in a lot at 522 N. Tyndall Ave. at midnight. When he returned to his car at 9 a.m., the permit was gone, reports stated.

The driver-side window had been shattered for months.

Police said the thief gained entry through the broken window, reports stated.


A custodial employee called police Monday after he saw a broken window on the second floor of the Ina E. Gittings building, 1713 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

Police found part of a skateboard underneath the window, along with shattered glass. Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A resident of Skyview Residence Hall called police after he found a hole in his window and couch Monday, reports stated.

The hole, along with a 5-inch crack in the window, was made by a bullet or something similar, reports stated.

The student found a hole roughly the same size in the back of his couch, reports stated.

Police took off the bottom of the couch to look for the object that made the hole but were unable to find anything.

There were small shards of glass on the sidewalk outside the window. There were no glass shards in the room, reports stated.

The student called police one hour later when he found another hole in the couch.

After getting permission from the hall director, the officer took apart the couch more carefully.

He was still not able to find the object that made the holes, reports stated.

The window was boarded up. Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A student called police after he noticed that his license plate had been stolen from his car Monday, reports stated.

The student parked his Mercury Sable in a lot at 1210 E. Helen St. at 4:30 p.m. earlier in the day.

He drove the car away without knowing that the license plate had been stolen, reports stated.

The student while parked at a nearby Walgreen's noticed the license plate was missing at 6 p.m., reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
