Volleyball team talks tourney
Tomorrow, the Wildcat volleyball team will head for College Station, Texas for its first round NCAA Tournament matchup with Wisconsin.
But before the quest for a national championship begins, the Wildcat had a chance to sit down with the team in McKale Center and discuss a number of issues - everything from the tourney to being tall.

Fox to miss at least 3 months
With the future of one of its veterans in doubt, the UA men's basketball team knows one thing for certain: It's time for the rest of the squad to step up.
Junior forward Isaiah Fox went under the laser late yesterday afternoon to repair a meniscal tear in his left knee. Fox is expected to miss three to four months of action.
While head coach Lute Olson was unaware earlier yesterday that Fox would miss such a significant amount of time, he was already bracing himself for the worst.

2-2 week drops UA from Top 25
Last week was rough for the UA women's basketball team. The Wildcats played four games - all on the road - came out 2-2 and fell from the Associated Press rankings for the first time in just over a year.
A loss to a tough UC Santa Barbara squad and a fifth-place finish in the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine classic was not exactly what Arizona (3-2) wanted. But there were some positives on the week, such as junior guard Dee-Dee Wheeler, who averaged 15.5 points during the tournament, including a 21-point performance in a win over Hawaii on Sunday.

Top 10-ranked swim and dive teams head to Texas
The sixth-ranked Arizona women's swimming and diving team and the eighth-ranked Arizona men's team are set to travel to Austin, Texas, for the annual Texas Invitational, set to take place tomorrow through Saturday.
The Wildcats will be in heavy competition amongst some of the nation's best while in Austin. The Texas Longhorns men's team is ranked second in the nation, while the lady Longhorns are ranked fifth. California's men's team will be coming to Austin ranked fourth, and the women are ranked eighth.
