A man was arrested for criminal trespassing early Sunday morning at Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall, 922 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

A resident assistant said the man had come into the residence hall and then went into the bathroom. The RA heard someone vomiting, reports stated. The man then left, but tried to enter the residence hall again, reports stated.

When police approached the man, he lit a cigarette and said he was visiting his uncle, reports stated.

Police asked if his uncle lived in the residence hall, and the man said, "No, he lives on Cortero," reports stated.

Police found vomit on the floor of the restroom. The man denied that it was his, reports stated.

The man was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail, reports stated.


Police found a student smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol in Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., Sunday night, reports stated.

Upon arriving, police smelled burnt marijuana, reports stated.

The student said he didn't have any marijuana and gave police permission to search his room.

Police saw a 12 ounce can of Budweiser and two large bottles of liquor on the student's desk. "Well, I do have some alcohol in the room," the student said.

He then admitted to possessing a small bag of marijuana and zigzags, reports stated.

The student was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was also cited and released for being a minor in possession, reports stated.

The alcohol was photographed and then disposed of, reports stated.


Police found marijuana and alcohol in a room at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., early Friday morning, reports stated.

While assisting with resident checks, police smelled burnt marijuana, reports stated. They knocked on the door where the smell was coming from and the student in the room said that he couldn't smell anything, reports stated.

Police asked him to stick out his tongue, which had a green tint and raised taste buds, reports stated.

He gave the officers permission to search the room, and they found two small baggies of a green leafy substance, two pipes and two bottles of Smirnoff, reports stated.

The student was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also given an MIP, reports stated.

The student's roommate admitted to having an 18-pack of Miller Lite, reports stated. When police asked why the student was sweating, he said, "Because I'm real nervous, sir," reports stated.

He was also given an MIP, reports stated.


A student was found drunk and unconscious outside of his room at La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., early Sunday night, reports stated.

When police arrived, they asked if the student was OK, and he said, "I had too much to drink," reports stated.

He then said he felt sick and started vomiting, reports stated.

He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was treated for illness due to alcohol, reports stated.

The student said he had been drinking at a house party. He was cited for underage drinking and then released, reports stated.


A $200 oil painting, $200 telescope and microwave stand were stolen from a student's room at Corleone Apartments, 1330 N. Park Ave., sometime between Sunday and Monday night, reports stated.

The student said she had been in the process of moving when the items were stolen, reports stated.

There were no signs of forced entry, reports stated.


More than $1,500 worth of stereo equipment was stolen from a car at the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, 638 E. University Blvd., between Jan. 10 and Jan. 13, reports stated.

The owner of the car was a student who said that he had been out of town when his car was broken into, reports stated.

A CD/MP3 player, speaker box, amp and subwoofers were stolen, reports stated.

The left rear window had been pried out and the surrounding trim was cracked, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
