Bruin killer Monica Bisordi
Name: Monica Bisordi

In last weekend's upset of defending champs UCLA, Bisordi took individual event titles in both floor (9.900) and all-around (39.425). She finished fifth on the beam (9.875) and bars (9.800). This is Bisordi's second time as Wildcat Athlete of the Week.

Olson pupils thrive as head coaches
Former UA assistants, like OSU's John, find own coaching success

That's the consensus both within and outside the Arizona men's basketball camp, after Hall of Fame head coach Lute Olson passed Fred Enke as the school's all-time wins leader, just days after reaching the 700-win plateau for his 31-year coaching career.
"All those things were inevitable," said current Oregon State head coach Jay John, a former UA assistant who makes his second trip to Tucson tomorrow after leaving for Corvallis two seasons ago. "If coach (Olson) keeps going with the talent he has, I know it will be 800 soon. "

Road woes still plague Pacific 10
For whatever reason, the Pacific 10 Conference has extreme difficulty winning on the road. The UA is no exception.
The Arizona women's basketball team has had its share of difficulties away from McKale Center. The Wildcats own the second-longest home winning streak in the country at 23 games and are 9-0 in McKale Center this season but are a mediocre 3-3 away from Tucson. They have won their last 14 Pac-10 home games but are just 5-6 on the road against the conference in that span.
