ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Chris Nallen
Record-breaking senior golfer Chris Nallen
Chris Nallen was awarded Athlete of the Week honors for his win this week at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate. The senior from Hackettstown, N.J., went wire-to-wire with rounds of 63-64-68 to notch an overall 195 and grab his second win of the year and first of the spring.
After the win, the Wildcat met up with the senior team leader to talk golf, sports and the winner of what truly would be a heavyweight fight.

Men's hoops set for battle by the bay
The second half of the Pacific 10 Conference schedule begins tonight for UA men's basketball, and the road only promises to get tougher.
First up on Arizona's (14-4, 6-3 Pac-10) slate is a rematch with Golden State rivals California and Stanford, starting tonight at 8:30 in Berkeley.
The Golden Bears will have a new look from the last time the Wildcats squared off with them. Cal's leading scorer and rebounder, freshman Leon Powe, was notably absent from the Bears' lineup for Arizona's 95-75 win last month in McKale Center.

Women's Hoops: Pac-10-leading Cardinal try to end Cats' home winning streak tonight
A chance at first place, a 23-game home court winning streak and an opportunity for revenge are all on the line tonight in McKale Center as the women's basketball team faces Stanford.
The Cardinal (17-3, 10-1 Pacific 10 Conference) beat the UA (16-5, 8-2) 84-62 Jan. 10 at Maples Pavilion. Center Shawntinice Polk hurt her knee in the opening minutes of the game, and the Wildcats trailed by as many as 47 points.

FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY '04: Stoops reels in 20 recruits
UA signs 10 defenders, 4 offensive lineman, 2 receivers, 1 kicker
With the vast majority of the offense returning, the Arizona football team has signed 20 recruits, mostly on defense and mostly from the Lone Star State.
Head coach Mike Stoops' first recruiting class featured 20 preps - 11 defensive players, eight offensive players and a kicker - along with four mid-year players.
"I'm really excited about this class," Stoops said. "The thing I like about it is it has a lot of diversity. I think we hit our needs in some critical areas."
