photo Men's Hoops: Cats finish home slate this week

The No. 10 Arizona men's basketball team faces the Oregon schools this weekend for its final home games of the season.

"Our guys are very focused on getting better. They're not satisfied with this weekend," said Arizona head coach Lute Olson about their sweep of the Los Angeles schools on the road last week.

The Wildcats (21-4, 11-2 Pacific 10 Conference) have sole possession of first place after being tied for first for almost the entirety of conference play with Washington. [Read article]

photo Men's Hoops: Oregon poses big challenge

The Oregon Ducks are not imposing physically. They are far from giants.

But what they do have is a lot of speed and quickness, and a style they hope will sting No. 10 Arizona.

photo Surging women's hoops takes on Beavers

The Arizona women's basketball team enters the home stretch as it treks to the Northwest for its final road trip of the regular season to take on Oregon State today at 8 p.m.

With four regular season games remaining, the Wildcats (17-8, 9-5 Pacific 10 Conference) are tied for third place in the conference standings with ASU and Oregon.

While the Beavers (6-18, 1-13) have struggled of late, Arizona is cautious not to overlook tonight's opponent. [Read article]

Soccer signs 6 to letters of intent

The Arizona women's soccer team earned six National Letters of Intent yesterday, Arizona head coach Dan Tobias said in a press release on arizonaathletics.com.

In his second recruiting class at Arizona, Tobias signed defender Brianna Caceres of Canyon Country, Calif., forward Gianna DeSaverio of Littleton, Colo., midfielder Christina Hughes of Phoenix, forward London King of Santa Monica, Calif., defender Savanah Levake of Phoenix, and defender Erika Olson of Greenwood Village, Colo.
