The UA men's club lacrosse team hope to use the momentum from a comeback win over Utah Sunday when it plays No. 3 BYU tonight at 7 at the intramural fields at Rincon Vista.
Arizona (2-1) rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the second half against the Utes to win 10-8.
"The difference between the first and second halves against Utah was that in the second half, each and every one of you came out and did something," UA head coach Ken Broschart told his team following practice Monday.
After playing in the wet and cold conditions over the weekend, the Laxcats have used the last couple of days of practice to take care of some injuries
"We're trying to get the lactic acid out of our legs," said senior attacker Dave Sherman.
Playing their third game in five days, fatigue for the Laxcats may become a factor.
BYU is also known to carry a skilled bench, which may provide an additional boost for the Cougars.
The game tonight will be the Cougars' first regular-season game of the year after playing two scrimmages. including one against Utah.
All-American senior Mark Tschaggeny paved the way for the Cougar win against the Utes with five goals and two assists in the exhibition match.
The Laxcats play Division II squad New York Tech Friday at 7 p.m.
