A student's truck was damaged by an unknown person while parked in the south parking lot of the Alpha Gamma Rho house, 638 E. University Blvd., Saturday morning, reports stated.

The student told police someone broke the two left side windows on his truck with a large rock, reports stated.

He said it happened after he parked his truck at 12:30 a.m., reports stated.

The student told police his roommate told him his windows were broken at 2 a.m., reports stated.

He said no one he knew of was mad at him and there was nothing missing from his truck, reports stated.

There were no pry marks on the doors or ignition to indicate an attempted theft, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


An unknown person threw a chair frame through a window on the fourth floor of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., Tuesday night, reports stated.

When the police officer arrived, he saw a metal chair frame along with broken glass on the ground on the north side of the building, reports stated.

Two students told police they heard a crash and saw the chair fall to the ground. They did not see anyone in the broken window, reports stated.

No one reported being struck by the chair or glass, reports stated.

When police searched the fourth floor lounge they found broken Plexiglas on the floor along with posters and fliers thrown about, reports stated.

Police also found chairs flipped over in the lounge along with a beer can and bottle on the floor, reports stated.

It appeared to police someone had stood on the window ledge and left prints on either side of the broken pane, reports stated.

Police took pictures of the scene and lifted fingerprints from the windowpane, reports stated.

A resident assistant told police the chair most likely came from one of the rooms on the floor. The RA said each room should have three chairs, reports stated.

Police checked all the rooms on the floor, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A student was diverted to the Dean of Students Office for being a minor in possession Saturday morning, reports stated.

Police saw a woman walking west on East Second Street approaching North Mountain Avenue swaying from side to side as she walked, reports stated.

The officer stopped to make sure the woman was all right and she said she was OK, reports stated.

The officer could smell the odor of alcohol on her breath and asked her if she had been drinking, reports stated.

The student told police she "probably only had one drink," reports stated.

He asked the student what she drank and she said, "maybe had vodka that someone put in my drink," reports stated.

The whole time she was talking to police she was crying and apologizing, reports stated.

Police explained they were referring her to the Dean of Students, reports stated.

The officers then drove the student to her dorm, Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., and left her with the resident assistant on duty at the main entrance, reports stated.


A student's bicycle was stolen from the west side of the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., Saturday afternoon, reports stated.

The student told police he locked up his $1,000 bike at 1 p.m. with a cable lock through both the front and rear tires, reports stated.

He said when he returned at 2:15 p.m. his bike was gone, reports stated.

The student did not know the serial number and his bike was not registered with Parking and Transportation Services, reports stated.


An unknown person shattered the east-facing window of the Arizona Bookstore, 845 N. Park Ave., Saturday night, reports stated.

A student told police he saw the broken window while walking, but did not have any suspect information, reports stated.

The window looked as though a BB or small rock struck it, reports stated.

The window shattered but remained intact within the frame, reports stated.

A Pro-Guard Security guard told police the window was not broken when he passed at 7:30 p.m., reports stated.

Police contacted the manager of the store and helped him remove the exterior pane of the window and taped off the sidewalk, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
