The Arizona men's golf team moved up two spots yesterday at the Pacific 10 Conference Championships in Walla Walla, Wash.
As a team, the Wildcats shot a 3-under-par 352, their lowest score in three rounds.
Arizona won the Pac-10 Championship last year and used three golfers yesterday with par scores or lower to climb the leaderboard.
The Wildcats trail tournament leader ASU by 16 strokes.
Senior Nathan Lashley leads the Wildcats individually, currently tied at fourth.
Both Lashley and sophomore Henry Liaw shot below par with a 3-under and a 4-under, respectively.
ASU's Pat Moore held on to the top spot shooting a 2-under to finish 10-under after three rounds.
Senior Wildcat Kipp Riehle is the next Arizona golfer on the leaderboard. Riehle is tied for 18th at 2-over-par for the tournament.
Liaw, and freshmen Trey Denton and Josh Esler round out the Wildcats in the tournament.
Liaw is moved up from 49th place into a tie for 28th. Denton is tied for 48th, and Esler is in a tie for 51st in the 60-team field.
The final round of the Pac-10 Championships starts today at 8 a.m. at the Walla Walla Country Club.
