  • Exhibit: "Taking a Stand." By artist Viviana Lombrozo, "Stand" is a mixed media interactive art installation that honors the actions of courageous individuals and organizations that took a stand during the Holocaust to save the lives of others. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mon. – Fri.   • Exhibit: "Outward Appearances: Images of Ourselves and Others." No imagery is more readily available to an artist with greater metaphorical potential and expressiveness than the human being. Whether abstract or likeness, portraits are about the act of creation, a searching for truth and an investigation into interpreting themselves and the world around them. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tues. – Fri., 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. weekends.   • Exhibit: "John James Audubon: Birds of America." Audubon is the great American artist no one knows. He gave us the first comprehensive portraits and field observations of American birds, reporting in detail on more than four from the Philip B. Stewart Collection of Birds by John James Audubon exquisitely printed by the London firm of Havell and Son in 1858. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tues. – Fri., Noon – 4 p.m. Sat – Sun. UA Museum of Art

  • U.S. Rep. Jim Kolbe at UA Agricultural Center. Kolbe is hosting a series of town hall meetings on Legislative issues for the 109th Congress this month. Topics include the economy, national defense, border security, immigration reform, Social Security and Medicare. The meetings are open to the public. 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 4181 N.
