A man was booked into Pima County Jail Aug. 20 after someone called police about a man laying on the sidewalk near East Sixth Street and North Cherry Avenue, reports stated.
When police arrived they noticed the man was sleeping next to an orange Home Depot shopping cart.
The shopping cart was full of clothing and other items.
Police woke up the man and asked him his name. They then ran records check on the man and saw that he had two warrants.
The man was then taken to jail.
Police called Home Depot to see if they wanted the shopping cart back.
Police were told to give the cart back to the man.
The cart was placed into police property for safekeeping, reports stated.
A student was cited for driving on a suspended license early Wednesday morning near East North Campus Drive and North Park Avenue after she ran through a stop sign, reports stated.
Police pulled the student over around 1 a.m. The student admitted her license was suspended for unpaid tickets.
The student was released, reports stated.
A student, who was under 21, was cited for drinking and driving early Wednesday morning near North Park Avenue and East First Street, after police pulled him over for squealing his tires at a stop light, reports stated.
When police pulled the student over around 2 a.m. the student said, "I'm sorry I squealed my tires, I was just showing off my new tires to my friend here."
Police smelled alcohol on the student's breath and noticed he had red, watery eyes, reports stated.
Police conducted a field sobriety test and took the student to the University of Arizona Police Department. The student asked to speak to his lawyer.
Police watched as the student left a message for his lawyer and his parents, reports stated.
The student was given a Breathalyzer test and had a blood-alcohol content of .160. A second Breathalyzer test showed the student had a BAC of .171, reports stated.
The student was cited for underage drinking, exhibition of speed and driving while under the influence.
The student was released to a sober driver, reports stated.
A student's $5,000 motorcycle was stolen Wednesday while parked in a Zone 1 lot, 840 E. Cherry Ave., reports stated.
The student said he parked his motorcycle around 11 a.m. and returned about two hours later to find the motorcycle gone.
The student said he checked the surrounding area and was unable to find it.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A student's $600 silver and black bike was stolen Wednesday from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., reports stated.
The student told police she locked the bike with a cable lock around 10:30 a.m. and returned around 2 p.m. to find her bike gone.

A student lost his $80 Samsung silver flip phone Wednesday at the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, 1130 N. Mountain Ave., reports stated.
The student said he last saw his phone around noon and said he noticed it was missing around 4 p.m.
The student said he could have lost it while he was in one of the lecture halls, reports stated.
A set of keys was found Wednesday night at the Ina A. Gittings building, 1713 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The keys were attached to a key chain that said, "I love Nicholas."
Police were not able to find the owner of the keys.
A white and brown Dodge was towed Aug. 21 from North Euclid Avenue and East Helen Street, reports stated.
The Dodge had been left blocking the lane. Police were not able to find the owner of the car.
It was towed by Tucson Wrecker, reports stated.
