Freshman Yaniv Barnett, a defensive end on the UA football team, was suspended by head coach Mike Stoops this week for violating unspecified team rules.

"Yaniv is indefinitely suspended," Stoops said. "That's my comment about that."

Barnett and three other students were charged with possession of marijuana Monday night at a table in front of Arizona Stadium, 1425 E. Sixth St.

Barnett was also caught with marijuana Sept. 1 and was referred to the Dean of Students that day.

- Holly Wells and Charles Renning contributed to this report.
