Anti-abortion advertisement offensive
To the editor,
I just want to express that I was greatly offended by the pro-life propaganda that was
placed in Monday's paper. Of all the advertisements that have been placed in the paper, this is the first insert I've noticed to be political in nature. I don't know how desperate the paper is for money but no amount should have been worth placing that insert in.
The school newspaper should be apolitical and have no view either way on certain issues.
Especially an issue as volatile as abortion. If you must place ads like this in the paper you should have ads for both sides of the issue just not one religiously-driven view.
