Men's tennis team come away with 1 win in Texas
The Arizona men's tennis team came away with one win on the road in Texas this weekend. UA swept Texas Pan-American 7-0.
"Only one match went to three sets," assistant coach Bob Helmig said. "The guys played very solid, and came out very strong for being on the road."
Saturday the Wildcats lost to Rice University 4-3. Starting off strong, UA won the doubles point, but fell behind in singles.
"I lost the first set and was coming back in the second set when I sprained my ankle, thus loosing the match," freshman Caleb Marquardt said. "Hopefully it will heal for play against Arizona State this weekend."- Katie Fonken
