University of Arizona police officers ended their investigation Thursday of an alleged fake-ID ring after seeking out and citing all the minors involved.

"There were a total of 19 citations issued," said UAPD Cmdr. Brian Seastone last night.

Police seized information on the minors during a March 8 bust in the UA's Maricopa Residence Hall, 1031 E. North Campus Drive. The alleged fake-ID buyers were arrested on suspicion of attempting to possess false California driver's licenses.

"Most likely they (the minors cited) will get a fine," Seastone said.

Police received an anonymous tip earlier in the month about the fake-ID production.

Two UA students, Michelle Ratte, 20, and Tovah A. Thomasino, 19, were arrested on suspicion of fraud after police linked their involvement to the fake-ID scam.

Prescott resident Bryan Thompson, 20, was also arrested on suspicion of fraud after he was seen taking photographs of students in the dorm room, police reports stated.

Police were led to Thompson's hotel room at the University Inn, 950 N. Stone Ave., where they found alleged fake-ID manufacturing equipment.

Officers obtained a search warrant and entered the room, finding Kenneth Flemming, 26, inside the room with 20 false California driver's licenses, computer equipment and materials allegedly used to create the cards, reports stated. Flemming was arrested on suspicion of fraud.
