Rugby opens conference play with shutout

The Arizona Rugby team started its conference season Friday with a solid 25-0 victory over the Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo Mustangs.
Zach Harrison scored the only points in a slow first half, kicking two field goals to give the Wildcats a 6-0 lead. Wing Al Lakomskis got the Wildcats started in the second half with a crushing blow that caused a Mustang fumble. Lakomskis jumped on the ball for the Wildcats first try of the game.
Chris Kron finished the scoring with two tries as Arizona rolled to the shutout victory. Arizona has won four straight over Cal-Poly.
