Aguilar misinformed

To the editor,

It's a shame ASUA President was either misquoted or ignorant in claiming that the last presidential candidate to campaign on campus was Robert Kennedy (2/22).

Jesse Jackson held a rally in the Main Auditorium (now Centennial Hall) in 1984. More recently, Bob Dole made a stop at McKale Center during a basketball game during the 1996 campaign.
