The UA outdoor track season will hit its midpoint today when the Wildcats take part in the 74th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, held in Austin, Tex.
As in years past, competition from around the country will travel to the state capitol. Fast times and fierce competition will be expected.
Defending her 100-meter dash win from last year's relays will be junior Brianna Glenn, who will take on over 90 other runners.
Alongside Glenn, senior Andrea Dutoit will compete in the pole vault which will feature last year's defending Pacific-10 Conference champion Tracy O'Hara.
One feature on the Texas Relays is the many different types of relays the meet produces, such as the uncommon 4x200-meter relay. The UA will take part as the middle and long distance runners compete in the distance medley.
On the men's side, junior Mike Kenyon will try to continue his early success in the 400m and will also run in the 4x400m-relay team.
Olympic stars will also shine bright in Texas, as the "World's Fastest Man," Maurice Green, will once again take part in the 100m dash.
Green holds the world record in the event at 9.79 seconds.
Green will be joined by two fellow Olympians, Jon Drummond and Terrance Trammell.
