Students Against Sweatshops are at it again, only this time they're not invading offices to get what they want. In a more subdued manner than their previous tactics, the group is sponsoring a Peace and Justice Fair. Tucson area businesses will be on hand to offer fair-goers informational literature about their organizations. The fair starts at 8 this morning, but don't worry if you're not an early bird, you can still get the worm since the program runs until 5 tonight. Call 623-7306 for more information.

But that's exactly what will happen when Robert Mesta from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service takes the stage at DuVal Auditorium at the University Medical Center. Mesta will discuss "Bald Eagles of the Rio Yaqui" tonight, with an update on their current status in the U.S. The lecture, sponsored by the Audubon Society, starts at 7 p.m. Kevin Dahl can give you the scoop 622-5622.

The program, which will be held in Modern Languages Room 410, starts at 5 p.m. Call Donna Rabuck at 621-5849 for more details.

So you thought you got a great view of the evening sky here in Tucson. Try the view from the South Pole. The Steward Observatory Public Evening Series takes on the stars of the South Pole tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Room N210 of the Steward Observatory.
