Woman dies in area shooting

A 26-year-old man killed his girlfriend and shot himself at a campus-area home Friday morning, a police spokesman said.

The couple's 9-year-old son called 911 just after 7 a.m., saying that his father was shooting a gun in their home in the 1400 block of East Elm Street, Tucson Police Department Sgt. Marco Borboa said. [Read article]
