Spring break, which starts tomorrow, signals the approximate halfway mark of the semester. Midterm grades are on the way and graduation is around the corner. But more importantly, next week is a time to get away from school, exams and work.
While some University of Arizona students are planning spring break adventures across state and international borders, others are opting to stay close to Tucson. The Wildcat asked students, "What are you doing for spring break?"

"I'll be working at an emergency animal shelter."

"I'm going down to Rocky Point to drink and have fun like every other college kid out there. Last spring break I went snowboarding up in Oregon, so this summer, I want to have fun in the sun."

"I'm probably going to go home to Kearney, Arizona. It's a real small town in between Tucson and Phoenix. There's nothing to do there. The only thing we have is the pizza place. That's it."

"Me and a couple of guys are going down to Rosarita for a week to get drunk by the pool, go to bars and have a good time."
