It's April Fool's Day. That means all those clever practical jokes your devious, mischievous mind incarnated during the past year can be unleashed. We condone safe practical jokes, however, and hope no one is injured or embarrassed too much today. That means we do NOT recommend spiking your professor's coffee with a bottle of Visine!
If you are in graduate school or beyond, you realize you have been in school for the better part of the past decade. If secretaries and service workers have days in their honor, you should too. The Graduate and Professional Student Council pooled its resources and came up with Graduate Student Appreciation Week. Many events will be held this week, with an ice cream social on tap for today. For more information, contact Lisa Napoleon at 400-0432, e-mail her at napoleon@email.arizona.edu or visit the Web site at www.gpsc.arizona.edu.

Sir William Shakespeare is best known for his dramatic plays. But, as the Arizona Repertory Theatre can show you, his list of compositions includes comedy among the double suicides and heart-wrenching tragedies. Stop by Marroney Theatre at 1:30 p.m. with $11 and check out the group's preview rendition of Shakespeare's "Two Gentlemen of Verona." For more information, contact the Fine Arts box office at 621-1162 or visit the Web site at http://www.arts.arizona.edu/theatre.
