Softball sweeps series against Sun Devils
The No. 2 Arizona softball team began its pursuit of a seventh Pacific 10 Conference title last weekend with a two-game sweep of No. 6 Arizona State in Tempe.
The Wildcats (33-4, 2-0 Pac-10) wasted no time yesterday in wrapping up the second win of the series with a score of 10-1. Back-to-back homers by sophomore Leneah Manuma and senior Jennie Finch highlighted a first-inning surge that put UA up to stay at 4-0.
