An employee called police Friday after two lambs were stolen from a UA farm, reports stated.

Officers spoke to an employee at the West Campbell Farms, 4101 N. Campbell Ave., who told police that he saw the lambs in their pen Thursday afternoon. When he returned to work the next day, they were gone.

He believes that children are responsible for the crime. Each lamb is worth $80, reports stated.


A UA student called police Thursday after a man wanted to touch her feet at a campus library, reports stated.

The student was barefoot on the fourth floor of the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., when she was approached by an unknown man. The man asked if he could sketch her feet. She allowed him to sketch her feet but began to feel uncomfortable when the man asked if he could move her feet, reports stated.

The student told the man that she would move her own feet. The man asked if the student would touch his hands with her feet.

She became very uncomfortable, gathered her belongings and walked away. While getting up she glanced at the man's sketch book and saw that there was no drawing, reports stated.

Officers arrived at the library but were unable to find anybody that matched the man's description.


A UA employee called police from a campus building Friday after being stared at, reports stated.

The employee was at the computer lab at the SALT Center, 1010 N. Highland Ave., when he was approached by two unknown males. They stared at him and then left, heading west bound.

The employee told officers that he had never seen either male prior to the staredown, reports stated.


Police were called Friday after a UA student's backpack was stolen from a campus building, reports stated.

The student left her backpack at 11 a.m. in a locker outside the employee locker room at the Park Student Union, 615 N. Park Ave. The locker was not secured with a lock. When she returned at 2:30 p.m. the bag was gone.

She told officers that she didn't remember seeing any suspicious people in the area and didn't know who took her bag.

The bag contained a wallet, keys, a credit card and $2. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time, reports stated.

Police found a backpack near campus Thursday morning, reports stated.

Officers found the bag near East University Boulevard and North Tyndall Avenue. They searched through the bag and found a pair of socks, pants and an ankle brace. There was no identification in the bag. The bag and its contents were placed into UAPD as evidence, reports stated.


A UA student called police Thursday after his bike was stolen from a campus building, reports stated.

He locked his mountain bike to the bicycle racks on the southeast side of the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd. on Oct. 6. When the student returned the next day, the bike and u-lock were gone.

There are no suspects or witnesses at this time, reports stated.


A UA student's car stereo was stolen while her vehicle was parked at a campus lot Friday, reports stated.

She parked a 7 a.m. at the lot at 1904 E. Helen St. When she returned at 2 p.m. she noticed that the driver's side window was completely shattered. Her $200 stereo was also missing and there was minor damage to the dashboard where the CD player used to be.

Police were able to get a fingerprint from the door handle and believe that the theft may relate to a string of break-ins that the Tucson Police Department is investigating, reports stated.


A UA student called police Friday after her car's windshield was damaged while her car was parked in a campus garage, reports stated.

She parked the car Thursday on the first level of the Tyndall Avenue Garage, 880 E. Tyndall Ave. When she returned 12 hours later, she noticed a five-inch crack in the car's windshield.

She told officers that she believes the damage was done by construction crews because she had parked five feet away from the construction site, reports stated. There was no other damage to the car.

Police informed Risk Management of the incident.
