Confessions from a band nerd

I have a confession to make. I'm probably one of the biggest band nerds you'll meet, and I am proud of that fact. I like band so much that I joined the band sorority, Tau Beta Sigma.

I love our music, I love our marching drill, and I even love the way my uniform feels when I put it on.

Today's pick:

The Arizona Repertory Theatre presents a preview of the sci-fi comedy "Rain. Some Fish. No Elephants." tonight at 7:30 in the Laboratory Theatre on campus. The play stars genetically modified characters philosophizing in a post-apocalyptic setting. Student tickets are $12, and the show runs until Nov. 4.
